On expiry of the applicable retention period, personal data is securely deleted or irreversibly anonymised. Where deletion is not immediately possible due to backup architecture, data is isolated from active processing and deleted as soon as technically practicable.

Where personal data is transferred to countries that may not provide an equivalent level of data protection to that applicable in your jurisdiction, betji takes steps to ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place.
These safeguards may include standard contractual clauses, binding corporate rules, or transfers to jurisdictions that have been assessed as providing adequate protection. Where no adequacy decision or equivalent mechanism applies, betji relies on your explicit consent or the necessity of the transfer to perform your contract with betji.

Depending on Applicable Law, you may have some or all of the following rights in relation to personal data that betji holds about you. betji is committed to facilitating the exercise of these rights in a timely and transparent manner.

In complex cases, this may be extended by a further 60 days with notice to you. betji will not charge a fee for requests unless they are manifestly unfounded or excessive.
The Platform is intended exclusively for adults aged 18 and over, or the higher minimum age required by the relevant Operator or applicable license jurisdiction. betji does not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 18.
If betji becomes aware that personal data has been collected from a person below the minimum age, that data will be deleted promptly and the associated Account will be closed in accordance with the underage access provisions of our Terms & Conditions. Parents or guardians who believe a minor has registered on the Platform are requested to contact us immediately at [email protected] so that appropriate action can be taken without delay.
betji reserves the right to update or amend this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in our data practices, applicable law, or Platform functionality. Material changes will be communicated to registered Users via the email address associated with their Account and/or through a prominent notice on the Platform prior to the changes taking effect.
The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the date of the most recent revision. We recommend that you review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Platform following notification of material changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
